The Big Christmas Networking Party on 15th Dec (have you booked? If not, be quick!) is blessed with some beautiful donations to auction to help raise funds for the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre and Scotsdales Charitable Foundation which is still raising money to pay for the CCHC building.  We’d like to thank all the artists for their generosity – please visit their websites and look at their other work, tell your friends about it and come along on the night to bid for your own choice and to own an original work of art! The image above is presented as a limited edition of one. An original signed A3 (297mm x 430mm) print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Fine Art Paper presented in an archival glassine slip case. An image similar to this but unsigned sold in an auction in New Orleans for the Haiti Appeal. It raised $1500. The artist guarantees that this image had never before been printed or sold and would never be again. Ian Talbot is a Fine Art Photographer living in North East London. Though in a previous life a working professional fashion photographer, published in many prestigious fashion magazines across Europe he now works exclusively in the world of Fine Art.

Phyllis has donated two pieces in glass and a painting. She has exhibited work in different parts of the British Isles including Cambridge and has public artwork in Minneapolis in the U.S. She is working on a school glass project at present for a school’s centenary. She hopes to bring out a small publication in 2011 on her paintings as well as  creating a limited edition of prints in time for the 2012 Olympics which will be in the form of life-size works on paper.
